| The Old Bakery Coffee House
and Restaurant
We pride ourselves on our cheerful staff, providing
freshly prepared, 90% traditional home made products,
using local produce, whilst extending good service and
excellent value to all.
The Old Bakery was originally the village bakery and
bakers shop. It is situated in the centre of Braemar
near the Heritage Centre, Post Office and local shops.
Our interesting, reasonably priced, menu caters for
all. Not only do we serve a large variety of snacks,
homebakes and freshly prepared main courses and sweets,
but we also provide an extensive choice of vegetarian
dishes and special menus for children and senior citizens.
Come along and enjoy our fresh coffee or a nice cup
of tea. All groups welcome - walkers, climbers and bus
parties etc. Everything on the menu is available as
Takeaway.

produce to provide light fresh lunches.
In the evenings
on Friday and Saturday our suppers provide more of the
same simple, wholesome and tasty food.
Our spacious restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere
with great views and friendly service.
Children are very
welcome and with flat access all levels of mobility are
catered for. We are also
trying to do our bit for the environment and have
recently achieved the silver award for green tourism.

| Gordon’s Tearoom & Restaurant
Gordon’s restaurant is a traditional Scottish restaurant
situated in the heart of Braemar. Gordon’s Restaurant is
one of the oldest run businesses in Braemar and is as
well known for it’s hospitality as it is for the quality
of it’s fayre.
Our restaurant provides a uniquely traditionally
Scottish experience which is sadly dying out and being
replaced by a more modern theme. However we have been
able to maintain our high standards and traditions which
date back many years. We provide a varied menu at very
reasonable prices ranging from a full three course meal
to a pot of tea and home baking. A full takeaway service
is also available. Refreshment License.
The owners Chris, Moira and family are local people,
Chris having been born and brought up in Braemar. We
will be only too happy to help you make the most of your
visit to Braemar and encourage our staff to provide a unique and friendly experience. |

| The Gathering Place Bistro
At the entrance to the village of Braemar you will find
The Gathering Place, a small family run bistro. Owners
Sandie and Iain take pride in producing exciting dishes
sourcing local ingredients as far as possible. The Gathering Place makes all
the dishes on the premises, including the desserts! Iain
is an innovative, classically trained chef, with a
wealth of experience gained both at home and abroad,
which shows in the quality of the food he produces.
Our main menu is updated frequently. We have a special's
board which is updated daily, with many interesting and
delicious dishes -
also a chef's
special dish of the day, the dish the chef thinks is
particularly good that day. Special Dietary requirements
can be accommodated with prior notice - if in doubt
please call us.
We do get exceptionally busy at times so booking is
really essential. We can cater for small functions,
please enquire.
